Privacy Policy
1. Controller
The controller of personal data is WARK OĆ (Estonia). For data protection questions, write to info@wark.digital.
2. Data we collect
Account data (name, email, password hash); text you enter, files you upload and outputs you create; payment data via our payment provider (we never see card details); technical data (hashed IP address, browser type, logs) for security and abuse prevention.
3. Purposes and legal bases
To provide the service and perform our contract (account, generation, billing); legitimate interest for security, abuse prevention and service improvement; legal obligation for accounting; consent for newsletters if you subscribe.
4. Who we share data with
Only processors needed to provide the service: hosting (Hetzner Online GmbH, EU), Estonian speech synthesis (University of Tartu, TartuNLP ā only the text to be read is sent), AI video and image engine (BytePlus, when you use that feature), payments (Stripe) and email delivery. We never sell personal data.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Where a processor is located outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful safeguard.
6. Retention
Account data and content are kept until you delete your account. Files from trials without an account are deleted within 24 hours. Accounting records are kept for the legally required period (7 years). Logs are kept for up to 90 days.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict or object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format. You can delete your account in account settings. You may lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee) or your local authority.
8. Cookies
We only use cookies required for the service to work (session, security, language). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
